Hāwera: St Mary's Community Garden - Composting Workshop

The perfect spot has been secured for South Taranaki's newest community garden. Work has already started on preparing the whenua (land) at Hawera's St Mary's Anglican Church. The space will bring people together to connect while providing the community with fresh vegetables. What a great kaupapa for out Timebank to support!

Sustainable Taranaki (the amazing Mieke) will be facilitating the hands on workshop creating compost. Learn more about making an effective compost and take home new skills you can use everyday.
